AMOARA CAMPAIGN

AMOARA Campaign is a non-profit project located in San Blas, Nayarit. The mission of this campaign is to help shark fishermen make the transition into tourism.

We bring people on ocean safari trips to the beautiful area surrounding the fishing port in San Blas town. The safaris are guided with the help of our volunteers, and we pay fair wages to the fishermen who cooperate with us on AMOARA boats.

AMOARA gives the opportunity for alternative income to the fishermen and shows everybody that the value of these animals alive is much higher than the price of their dead bodies.

HOW DOES AMOARA WORK?

  1. AMOARA begins with you choosing to spend your day on an ocean safari. The price per person is 120$
