In this destination, with crystal clear water and dramatic backdrops along the coastline, we will look for dolphins, pods of mobula rays, humpback whales with their calves and sea lions. When we spot these animals, we will enjoy close encounters with them.

We will dedicate two days of this expedtiton to sharks. The April/May season is perfect for interactions with curious blue sharks, fast mako sharks and possibly smooth hammerhead sharks. You will be able to swim and freedive with these fascinating apex predators of our oceans. During this unforgettable experience there will be two experienced professional shark guides in the water with you, taking care of your safety and comfort in the water. The guides will also share valuable information and their knowledge about shark behavior and their importance to the health of our oceans.

For one day, we will travel to the city of La Paz, where you will be able to swim in a largest sea lion colony in the sea of Cortez, and snorkel with their playful cubs. Huge whale sharks are passing through this location at this time of the year and if lucky you will get to swim with them as well.

Our mission is to protect the underwater world, educate people of all generations and explore the treasures the ocean hides in its depths. Our conservation activities are our top priority and we fund them through expeditions like this, and if you join us, you will help us move our vision one step further.

Day 2

Cabo San Lucas – Pelagic Safari

In the morning, we will pick you up at the hotel and we will drive to the marina. We will jump on a private speedboat and spend our time looking for schools of mobulas and pods of wild dolphins to swim with. During the trip, we will also have the chance to encounter humpback whales.

Day 3

Cabo San Lucas – sharks

We will leave the marina in the morning, find the best spot for shark encounters, and start attracting them to our boat. Some days, it might take 20 minutes before the sharks arrive, other days we might have to wait for longer. While waiting, we might spot whales and large fish like wahoo. Once the sharks arrive, we jump into the water. There will be two professional shark guides in the water with you. The species that we will most likely encounter are mako sharks and blue sharks. The shortfin mako shark is the fastest shark on our planet and you can recognize it by its smooth, torpedo-shaped body and very strong muscles attached to its powerful tail. Blue sharks are curious open-ocean predators with a beautiful dark blue dorsal surface and bright blue sides.

It is not unusual that both of these sharks arrive to the boat and you will be able to observe their fascinating behaviour and the dynamics between them.

Whale sharks, the largest plankton-eating fish in the world, come here this time of the year too.
