Beautiful expedition created especially for those of you who would like to spend a good amount of time with apex predators of our oceans, sharks.

We start our adventure in Cabo San Lucas getting comfortable in the water, snorkeling, and freediving in the place where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific ocean meets. We will search for wild dolphins and Mobula rays that are closely related to sharks. We might be lucky to encounter humpback whales and their calves this time of year too.

The program for the next few days is clear: Try to get as many encounters with pelagic sharks as possible. We will get to swim with curious blue sharks, fast mako sharks, and smooth hammerhead sharks. We will spend our days on boats, attracting the sharks to us, and once they come, we will jump into the water. The sharks are curious species, so be prepared for some close interactions.

We will then travel to the city of La Paz, where you will be able to swim in a large sea lion colony with playful cubs. Huge whale sharks are passing through this location as well at this time of the year and if lucky you get to swim with them as well.

Our mission is to protect the underwater world, educate people of all generations and explore the treasures the ocean hides in its depths. Our conservation activities are our top priority and we fund them through expeditions like this, and if you join us, you will help us move our vision one step further.

Day 2

Cabo San Lucas – Pelagic Safari

In the morning, we will pick you up at the hotel and we will drive to the marina. We will jump on a private boat and spend our time looking for schools of mobulas and pods of wild dolphins to swim with. During the trip, we will also have the chance to encounter humpback whales.

• Accommodation: hotel, Cabo San Lucas

Day 3

Cabo San Lucas – sharks

We will leave the marina in the morning, find the best spot for shark encounters, and start attracting them. Some days, it might take 20 minutes before the sharks arrive, other days we might have to wait for longer. While waiting, we might spot whales and large fish like wahoo. Once the sharks arrive, we jump into the water. There will be two professional shark guides in the water with you. The species that we will most likely encounter are mako sharks and blue sharks. The shortfin mako shark is the fastest shark on our planet and you can recognize it by its smooth, torpedo-shaped body and very strong muscles attached to its powerful tail. Blue sharks are curious open-ocean predators with a beautiful dark blue dorsal surface and bright blue sides.

It is not unusual that both of these sharks arrive to the boat and you will be able to observe their fascinating behaviour and the dynamics between them.

·  Accommodation: hotel, Cabo San Lucas

Day 4

Cabo San Lucas - sharks

Another day for the shark encounters. Each day is different, but our main goal remains the same. Swimming with the mako sharks, blue sharks, and if lucky, with smooth hammerhead sharks. While we are out on the boat we will take advantage of every opportunity to find wildlife, and if we encounter orcas or other big animals, we will stop and see if we can get in the water with them as well.

·  Accommodation: hotel, Cabo San Lucas

Day 5

La Paz – Sea of Cortez

In the morning we move to La Paz, a city located on the shore of the Sea of Cortez. We will spend the day on the boat, swim in a large colony of sea lions, and play with their curious cubs. Whale sharks, the largest plankton-eating fish in the world, come here this time of the year too. We will enjoy lunch on a white sandy beach in a beautiful blue lagoon and on our way back to the marina we will observe rare birds and other animals that we meet in this area full of marine life.
